LED & Hardware Setup

Body

Here you will set the number of LEDs attached to this controller, as well as other hardware features. Notice, you can set the Maximum current. This is important when you are running the LEDs from a USB Power Pack and want to avoid overloading and tripping its breaker.

Security & Update Setup - Screen 1

This screen allows you to enable Updates via WiFi, and also do a factory reset to clear all configuration data.

This screen allows you to Backup both Presets and Configuration to your local machine, and allow Restore from previous backup files. It's also where you will find the fireware version number.

Sound Input Settings (Sound Responsive versions only)

Body

This screen only exists in the Control Freak Sound Responsive controllers. The Sound Input Pin Manager will be preset for you according to the type of microphone used. You may adjust Gain and Squelch, and use AGC or not according to the sound being sampled. FYI, Squelch controls minimum sound levels required to affect LEDs; AGC stands for Automatic Gain Control, normally you want this on.

Body

This screen allows you to setup the UDP ports used for synchronization. You can also set what gets synchronized, and what notifications are sent to other systems. Alexa and Phillips Hue are supported.
